Today we eagerly awaited the official announcement of Dr. Kurt Höller, Director Business Creation EIT Health: We are one of 11 European companies that can look forward to a 500k investment from EIT Health. In May, EIT Health initiated the 5.5 million Euro “Start-Up Rescue Instrument” and thereby addressed innovative start-ups in the fields of medical technology, digital health and biotechnology. The measure is intended to close and alleviate financing gaps caused by COVID-19.
After two highly challenging selection rounds with a total of 120 competitors, last week we made it into the all-important final pitch round in front of an expert jury. How long a weekend can be if you wait for a ground-breaking decision… On Monday we finally got the great news – a milestone is reached for us. The investment comes at a perfect time and allows us to take a big next step.
